user experience & art direction

The 2016 Cal Poly Hackathon was certainly the most rewarding experience of my college career. I came to the Hackathon with an idea: to create a platform that connected creatives with social causes—inspired largely by my senior project. After pitching my idea and forming a team of one iOS developer, two Android developers, a marketer and two visual designers, we spent the next 24 hours bringing my idea to fruition. I witnessed my ability to make crucial decisions under immense pressure while maintaining a high-level perspective and deep understanding of the user. Most importantly, the bonds that were created among my team were humbling. The passion and drive I saw in all of us that landed us an Honorable Mention for Development was inspiring. I am incredibly grateful for this leadership experience!
