  • About

I see design as a catalyst for change. While studying Graphic Communication at Cal Poly, I gained the skills, language, and understanding of complex processes it takes to create a product from start to finish. Meanwhile, I also pursued a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, a program that gave me a new and profound social awareness, improved my critical thinking skills, and gave me a strong value for varying perspectives—especially of those who are marginalized. For me, at the intersection of Graphic Communication and Women’s and Gender Studies is User Experience Design. The capacity of human-centered, empathy-driven design to create change in this world is vast and exciting. I have a deep desire to put humans at the heart of my designs and a keenness for taking complex projects and translating them into simple and delightful experiences for the user. I am eager to do good work.
